Time: 16:00 - 19:00   Region: East of England
Venue: Greene King Brewery, Westgate Street, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 1 QT

Places Available

As one of the UK's most celebrated breweries processing over 1.1 million hectolitres of beer per year, Greene King is no stranger to the issues of dwindling water availability.

You're invited to visit their state of the art brewery in the heart of Bury St Edmunds to learn how they manage the core ecological concerns of declining water availability, the surging cost of energy and close neighbours. Jenni Murphy, Greene King's Environmental Engineer, and Susan Chilsholm, Quality Control Manager and head beer taster, join Roger Walters, Quality Trade Manager, to lead a rivetting discussion about the inevitable pressures of production and sustainability in a time of climate change.

As the creators of famed brands like Abbot Ale, Old Speckled Hen and Green King IPA, you'll also have the chance to taste some of their most well known beers, and a rare opportunity to sample some hidden gems.

Don't worry about your membership level, as the event is open to everyone holding IEMA membership and with any knowledge level.
