Life-cycle thinking has been embedded into the new ISO 14001.

The revised standard introduces a new requirement to consider a life-cycle perspective in the process of determining environmental aspects and impacts. It also requires organisations to apply this perspective in the design and development processes for new products or services, as well as setting environmental requirements for procurement, and providing environmental information on forward-life-cycle stages.

These new expectations bring a series of challenges for practitioners like you:

•          What tools methods and standards should you use?

•          What are the best sources of data – whether from suppliers or established LCA databases – and how can you use these to the best effect?

Lead by Dr Sophie Parsons, University of Bath and IEMA's Martin Baxter, this workshop is a great opportunity to explore the application of life-cycle thinking in you EMS. Book now to secure your place.
